Louise Ward - Behavioural Science Club origins and learning with 42courses
Did you make an addition to your life during Covid, like a new exercise routine, dog ownership or maybe even trying out a vegan lifestyle?
In lockdown #1, Louise Ward discovered Behavioural Science and turned that new passion into The Behavioural Science Club.
The Behavioural Science Club
It started out as a LinkedIn group/book club, created by Prakash Sharma after he saw her book list in the chat during Nudgestock, but quickly transformed into something quite special with weekly video calls hosting the leading thinkers and speakers from the field of Behavioural Science.
Guests on the Saturday Zoom calls so far have included such luminaries as Rory Sutherland, Cass Sunstein, Katy Milkman, Matt Wallaert, Amy Bucher, the list goes on and on.
In such a short time, the club has literally gone from zero to hero, now boasting over 4,500 members.
All credit and congratulations to Louise and co-founder/host Prakash Sharma.
In this podcast, Louise explains the complete origins story of The Behavioural Science Club and what goes into creating the weekly episodes.
42courses student review
To indulge in her newfound lockdown love for Behavioural Science, Louise also started learning with us at 42courses.
The first course she took was Behavioural Economics with Rory Sutherland.
Since then she has completed so many additional courses that she now sits in a glorious 6th position on the 42courses global leaderboard.
Being 6th out of the current just over 22,000 students is quite something.
So there’s no better person to hear from to get a feeling for the student experience on 42courses.
In the podcast, find out what Louise feels she has gained from studying with us.
