5 talks not be missed at Cannes Lions Live

We’re trying to contain our excitement here at 42Courses HQ as next week is Cannes Lions Live.

As well as being a sponsor of Ogilvy’s Nudgestock festival of creativity and behavioural science, we are also the learning partner for Cannes Lions Learning.

To date, we have partnered with Cannes Lions on a range of courses to boost your creative skills, including storytelling, creative thinking, creative leadership, digital marketing, and more.

So if you want to grow your creative muscle and boost your CV, you can get certified by Cannes Lions by visiting 42courses.com and selecting one of their courses.

Cannes Lions is like the Oscars for the advertising and marketing industry for those who don't know. Each year, awards are given to the best campaigns across a range of different categories.

As its name suggests, the event typically takes place in the glamorous South of France, but due to the ongoing challenges of the Coronavirus, it will be live-streamed every day during the week of the 21st - 25th June.

Whilst that does mean that there’ll be no sipping rose as the sun sets on the Croisette, the flip side is that you can join in the action from anywhere in the world.

Alongside the daily awards announcements, this virtual festival of creativity features a host of notable speakers sharing their stories on how creativity has transformed their lives for the better.

Highlights include the Formula One driver Fernando Alonso, the singer, songwriter and actress Brandy, the Hollywood actress Gal Gadot and the superstar historian and author Yuval Noah-Harari.

But that’s not all.

Leading industry figures from companies like YouTube, P&G, Unilever, Facebook, Accenture, Netflix, and more will be sharing their point of view on a wide range of creativity-related topics.

This year’s line-up even includes the Deputy Secretary-General of the UN, Amina Mohammed, who will be contributing to a discussion on how creativity can drive global change.

With so much going on over the five days, we thought it would be helpful to share the talks and debates we’re most excited about watching.

So here goes…
