2023 marks the 70th anniversary of the Cannes Lions International Festival.
For seven decades, it has championed the power of creative ideas to change the world and winning an award at Cannes Lions remains the ultimate goal for many creative professionals.
To help celebrate this historic event, we’ve put together a short, lighthearted course looking back at some award-winning ads from the 1950s to today.

What Does This Course Cover?
The course comprises three chapters and seven lessons.
Each lesson looks at a particular decade, starting with the 1950s all the way up to the present.
You’ll learn a bit about what was happening in the world and how that influenced advertising at the time.
But the best bit is getting to watch the 30+ award-winning ads.
It won’t take you long, only about an hour to complete.
