Some terrible ideas for things to do this weekend and other #FridayFunFacts
Do you ever feel like the days are just flying past faster and faster? That's because they bloody are! Some earthquakes can affect the spin of Earth's axis if they're powerful enough, and this actually shortens the length of a day on Earth!! So who do we have to blame? The 2011 Japan earthquake stole 1.8 microseconds from each day, and the 2004 Sumatran earthquake took a whopping 6.8 microseconds. Bastards.
Ah The Matrix. A groundbreaking film that could be hauntingly accurate, famous for long leather coats, tiny sunglasses, spurious kung-fu moves and green text. What does it all mean, you wonder? The answer is Salmon Teriyaki. Literally - the green text at the start of the matrix is actually backwards characters from a Japanese sushi recipe book.
Whether we're living in the matrix or not, human bodies are pretty impressive: we have about 60,000 miles of blood vessels just chilling under our skin. If you took them all out and placed them end to end, they'd wrap around the world more than twice. But don't do that.
Something else you probably shouldn't do is go to New York. Every year, more people are bitten by New Yorkers than sharks.
You can skydive without a parachute, but only once. We don't recommend that either.
