Looking Back: 2020's Top Courses

2020 was, for the most part, not great.

But, there was a silver lining!

The time people have gotten to spend at home has, where possible, facilitated an increase in the popularity of personal development.

The motivation to spend that extra time that you’re not in the office on upskilling and getting that big brain energy 🧠 has waxed and waned over the year, but here at 42courses our learners have gone from strength to strength.

So, let’s take a look back to celebrate the courses that were our most popular and got the most learners involved in 2020.

  1. Behavioural Economics

To the surprise of no-one, our Behavioural Economics course was a top performer last year.

We might not have had the opportunity to see a lot of people last year, but that didn’t seem to stop you from wanting to learn about why we act the way we act, and how to use that information influentially.

2. The Happy Course

Sourcing happiness was a hard task in 2020, which made it the ideal time for this course to take to the fore.

The product of a collaboration with Meik Viking and the Happiness Research Institute, the Happy Course is full of practices to learn healthy habits and tips to improve your mental wellbeing.

It never hurts to be more happy! ⭐️

3. Marketing Strategy

Learning as learning should be: engaging.

Jargon-free, this course provides theoretical and practical methods to improve your marketing strategy.

Whether you’re an established marketer looking for a contemporary refresh, or looking to move into a marketing position, this collaboration with WARC and Cannes Lions contains the subject matter you need.

Don’t fight it. 🥊❌

3. Storytelling

You should never underestimate the value of a good story.

The attachment of a story to a product or company can increase the value exponentially, if you tell it right.

Certified by Cannes Lions, our storytelling course provides access to over 50 practical case studies of how using a story can make you stand out from the crowd. 🙌

5. Behavioural Science for Brands

Behavioural science is one thing (an incredibly interesting and vast thing!) but actually applying it in a useful way is an entirely different matter.

Hence the need for this course.

Behavioural science can improve all aspects of marketing: from pricing to promotions, from media to messaging. If your customer is human, there will be something for you.

Understand it, apply it and benefit. ⭐️
